InterAct CashFlow is an internal financial management application operated by InterAct and used exclusively by authorized InterAct personnel to manage the company's own finances. This policy describes how the application collects, uses, and protects information.
The application processes bank account and transaction information for accounts owned by InterAct and its principals, including account balances, transaction descriptions, dates, and amounts. This data is provided by authorized users through file uploads or retrieved with the account owner's authorization through Plaid, a financial data connectivity service.
Financial data is used solely for internal business purposes: cash flow forecasting, accounts payable management, debt tracking, and financial reporting for InterAct. Data is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
When bank connections are made through Plaid Inc., banking credentials are provided directly to Plaid and are never seen or stored by this application. Plaid's collection and use of information is governed by the Plaid End User Privacy Policy.
Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption at rest, and all connections to the application are encrypted in transit using TLS. Access requires individual credentials with multi-factor authentication. Access is limited to authorized InterAct personnel on a least-privilege basis, consistent with the InterAct Information Security Policy and Access Control Policy.
The application relies on the following service providers, each acting on InterAct's behalf: Railway (application hosting), Plaid (financial data connectivity), and GitHub (source code management). These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services.
Financial records are retained as required for InterAct's business and regulatory purposes. Authorized users may remove connected accounts and associated data at any time; upon disconnection of a Plaid-linked account, retrieval of new data ceases.
